Vigan Airport (IATA: VGN, ICAO: RPUQ), also known as Mindoro Airport, is a community airport serving the city of Vigan, the capital of Ilocos Sur.
While modernized, the airport primarily caters to general aviation (private and charter flights) and flight training schools.
Regular commercial services have been intermittent. In the past, carriers like Platinum Skies operated routes to Manila and Basco.
Due to limited direct commercial flights, many travelers use Laoag International Airport (LAO), located about 70 km (approx. 1.5–2 hours) north of Vigan, as a primary air gateway.
- Capacity: Following major rehabilitation in 2022, the passenger terminal capacity increased from 40 to 150 passengers.
- Runway: Single asphalt runway (02/20) measuring approximately 1,045 to 1,158 meters.
- Facilities: Includes a modernized Passenger Terminal Building, administrative building, powerhouse, and wheelchair-accessible amenities.
