Traveling to the Philippines
The Philippines has several official ports of entry where international travelers can legally enter the country.
The primary port of entry is Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in the capital city of Manila.
The airport has four terminals that cater to both international and domestic flights:
- Terminal 1: Primary international airport terminal in Manila serving majority of the international airlines.
- Terminal 2: Used for both international and domestic flights of Philippine Airlines.
- Terminal 3: Carries all flights operated by Cebu Pacific Air, PAL Express, Philippines AirAsia and international airlines such as All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Qantas Airways, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and United Airlines.
- Terminal 4: Hosts domestic flights of Philippine Air Asia, CebGo, SkyJet and AirSWIFT.
For those intending to travel directly to destinations outside of the capital region, below is a compilation of additional airports that accommodate international airlines.
Regional International Airports
Luzon
- Clark International Airport (CRK)
- Location: Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga
- Currently serves both domestic and flights to various international destinations including Busan, Dubai, Taipei-Taoyuan, Yangyang, Seoul-Incheon, Singapore, Doha and Muan. The airport also serves chartered flights.
- Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS)
- Location: Rizal Avenue, Puerto Princesa, Palawan
- Serves flights of Air Juan, AirSWIFT, Cebu Pacific, PAL Express, Philippines Air Asia, Sunlight Air (charter) and Tigerair Taiwan (Taipei-Taoyuan)
Visayas
- Bohol–Panglao International Airport (TAG)
- Location: Dauis-Panglao Road, Panglao, Bohol
- Serves flights of PAL Express, Philippines AirAsia, Cebu Pacific, AirSWIFT, Air Juan, Royal Air Philippines (charter: Busan, Seoul-Incheon), Royhle Air Way (charter: Dumaguete) and Jeju Air (Seoul-Incheon, Korea)
- Godofredo P. Ramos/Caticlan/Boracay Airport (MPH)
- Location: Aklan West Road, Malay, Aklan
- Serves flights to and from Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, Cebu, Clark, El Nido
- Kalibo International Airport (KLO)
- Location: Airport Access Road, Kalibo, Aklan
- Serves flights to and from Manila, Taipei-Taoyuan, Seoul-Incheon and Busan.
- Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB)
- Location: Airport Road, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu
- Currently serves both domestic and international flights including flights to and from Seoul-Incheon, Bangkok, Busan, Singapore, Taipei, Doha, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
Mindanao
- Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO)
- Location: Catitipan, Barangay Buhangin, Davao City
- Handles both domestic and international flights operating to and from Davao including Cebgo, Cebu Pacific (including Singapore), PAL Express, Philippine Airlines, Philippines Air Asia, Scoot (Singapore) and Singapore Airlines (Singapore)

Luzon
- Port of Manila:
- Location (for international cruise ships): Eva Macapagal Super Terminal, Pier 15, Manila South Harbor, Port Area, Manila.
- Location (for domestic inter-island vessels): North Port Passenger Terminal, Pier 4, Manila North Harbor, Port Area, Manila.
- The busiest and largest port in the Philippines, serving as a primary gateway for imports and exports and a major hub for international passengers and cargo.
- International Port of Batangas:
- Location: Barangay Santa Clara, Batangas City
- A significant gateway for passengers and Ro-Ro (roll-on/roll-off) traffic, with facilities for international and domestic shipping.
- Port of Subic:
- Location: Alava Pier Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ), Zambales
- Identified as one of eight ports to boost international tourism and a hub for cruise liners.
Visayas
- Port of Cebu:
- Location: Pier 1, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City
- The busiest seaport in the Philippines by annual passengers, it is a major international gateway for both passenger and cargo ferries.
Mindanao
- Port of Davao:
- Location: Sasa Wharf, Km. 10, Port Area, Davao City
- Another key tourism gateway and a major port serving the Davao region for both passengers and cargo.
- Port of Zamboanga:
- Location: R.T. Lim Boulevard, Zamboanga City
- Part of the cruise port development plan to boost tourism.
