Biliran Airport is a small airport serving the general area of Naval in Biliran province, with a dirt runway measuring approximately 1,000 meters and primarily supporting charter flights.
Biliran Airport is situated in Barangay Catmon, approximately 7 kilometers from the town proper (poblacion) of Naval in Biliran Island. The airport is classified as a feeder or community airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
The airport was constructed in the 1970s as an adjunct of the Busali Ranch, a property believed to have been acquired under the administration of then President Ferdinand Marcos. It has historically served the general area of Biliran Island, providing access to domestic flights from nearby islands, mainly Cebu.
Biliran Airport has a single dirt runway, oriented approximately 18/36 (or alternatively 12/30 in some sources), with a length of 1,000 meters (3,281 feet).
As a small airport, it has limited infrastructure and may not support large commercial aircraft. The traffic pattern altitude is around 1,000 feet (305 m) MSL. There are currently no navigational aids in the immediate vicinity of the airport.
The airport mainly caters to charter flights particularly between Cebu and Naval.
