Hinulugang Taktak is one of the Philippines’ most iconic natural waterfalls and a cherished cultural landmark, located in the scenic city of Antipolo, Rizal.

Established as a National Park in 1952, and declared a Protected Landscape in 2000, Hinulugang Taktak has long been a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike, offering a refreshing escape into nature combined with rich historical significance.

Just a short drive from Metro Manila, Hinulugang Taktak Nature and Adventure Park, as it is formally called, was the first stop on our second visit to the city of Antipolo, where we spent a leisurely morning admiring the falls up close and wandering about its surroundings.
