Plaza Burgos serves as a solemn tribute to the martyrdom of Father Jose P. Burgos, one of Vigan’s most famous sons and a national hero.
Today, it is a lively public space where visitors can enjoy historical monuments, relax under large shaded trees, and sample Vigan’s iconic street food at the famous Plaza Burgos Empanadahan.
