Lagen Island is one of four premium properties owned and operated by the El Nido Resorts group, known for its secluded location between a lush four-hectare forest and a calm, shallow lagoon.
Today’s itinerary included a visit to Lagen Island Resort, situated some six kilometers (3.24 nautical miles) southeast of Miniloc.

Its clubhouse restaurant serves as the standard lunch stop during the guided activity tours of guests coming from Miniloc or any of the other El Nido Resorts.
 |
| The restaurant features both air-conditioned and al fresco seating overlooking the resort’s pool and the bay. |
El Nido Resorts Lagen Island is an eco-sanctuary known for its quiet luxury and diverse wildlife, offering over-water villas and forest suites designed with materials recycled from traditional Filipino homes.

After stepping off, I looked for a spot to set down my belongings and began to wander around the premises. The beauty of this place is truly remarkable; the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" couldn’t be more fitting.
 |
| Stilted villas overlooking the lagoon and bay line the right side of the resort, nestled against the island’s verdant forest. |
 |
| Similarly, the left side of the resort showcases a comparable view, but framed by towering limestone cliffs. |
