At the town center, Brutus dropped us off at the Banaue Tourist Information Center to complete the required registration and pay the environmental fee of ₱20, which is used to fund the conservation of Banaue’s rice terraces.

The Tourist Information Center is run by the Banaue Tourism Council, which you can contact via their official mobile hotlines at 0917-188-7386 or 0927-543-8850, or through their official Banaue Tourism facebook page.
I highly recommend that you inquire directly from this office first, before you decide on anything on your own and get duped by pseudo-tourist guides in the process (which almost happened to me).
Shortly after, Brutus led us to the People’s Lodge & Restaurant, located just across the tourist info center, where we could have breakfast and talk about our schedule for the day.
The dining atmosphere at People’s Lodge & Restaurant is casual and relaxed, featuring a back terrace that offers open-air seating, fresh mountain air, and scenic views of the surrounding area.
