It is my second day in Banaue, and because I did not get enough sleep the previous night, I woke up later than usual at around 7:30am.
 |
| 7:34am. Getting prepped up for the day ahead. |
After a refreshing hot shower, I had a light breakfast on the veranda, while reviewing my schedule for the day ahead.
 |
| 8:10am. Breakfast with a view. |
I took several parting shots of the village below, as I was set to leave for Bontoc later today, and might not have another opportunity to do so.
Planned for today was a visit to several places that included a local bronzesmith, the Banaue Museum, the town center, and then head back to People’s Lodge to gather my things and checkout.
After checking out, I will be visiting the five viewpoints along the highway to capture different perspectives of the rice terraces, before proceeding to Bontoc in the early afternoon.
I had pre-arranged to hire the same trike I rode yesterday, and found my driver/guide in front of the lodge already waiting. This cool dude, named Jesstony, just charged me ₱50 for each stop, or a total of ₱450 for all nine stops.
