Sabtang is a cultural gem in the Batanes archipelago—remote, rugged, and rich in Ivatan heritage.

It is one of three inhabited islands in Batanes and offers a slower, more immersive travel experience compared to the more developed Batan Island.

Sabtang is home to Savidug and Chavayan villages, two of the oldest and best preserved Ivatan settlements in Batanes.

Other places worth a visit include San Vicente Ferrer Church, a national historical landmark built in 1785; Morong Beach and Mahayaw Arch, with its white sandy shoreline and iconic rock formations; Chamantad-Tinyan viewpoint, offering sweeping views of cliffs and sea; and Sabtang Lighthouse, a quiet spot for sunset and coastal views.

Sabtang is an ideal destination for travelers who seek cultural depth, scenic landscapes, and experiences filled with captivating stories.
