San Francisco (Anao-Aon) is one of twenty (20) municipalities (along with one city) that comprise the province of Surigao del Norte in the Caraga Region. The town is politically subdivided into eleven (11) barangays, and is a part of the 2nd Congressional District of Surigao del Norte.
