The region’s highlights include stunning natural landscapes, significant historical landmarks, and a lively cultural scene.

Located just north of Metro Manila, it is often referred to as the “Rice Granary of the Philippines” due to its expansive and fertile plains that are ideal for rice production.

Central Luzon is comprised of seven (7) provinces namely: Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales. Additionally, it is home to three (3) freeport zones: Clark, Subic, and Bataan, which are designated areas with special economic privileges, including tax incentives to attract investors.

The region features a variety of travel attractions, from natural marvels like Mount Pinatubo and Minalungao National Park, to historical sites such as the Mt. Samat National Shrine and Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. It is also famous for its beaches in Bataan, water parks like Aqua Planet, and a rich cultural legacy, especially in Bulacan.

Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano popular for its crater lake and scenic tours. Minalungao National Park features limestone formations, the Penada River, and offers activities like bamboo rafting, kayaking, and spelunking.

Mt. Samat National Shrine is a historical monument in Pilar, Bataan, commemorating soldiers who fought in World War II, featuring the second-tallest cross in the world. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is an open-air museum in Bagac, Bataan, showcasing reassembled Spanish colonial houses from various regions of the country.

Subic Bay in Zambales, formerly the largest US naval base in the Pacific, has been redeveloped into a commercial and tourism center that provides numerous family-friendly activities such as Zoobic Safari and Ocean Adventure. Similarly, Clark, which was once a US Air Force Base, is now home to Clark International Airport and a burgeoning business and leisure district.

A variety of beaches can be found along the scenic coastline of Bataan, particularly in Morong, Bagac, and Mariveles, as well as in Nagsasa and Anawangin Coves. The Ditumabo Mother Falls is a breathtaking natural waterfall situated in Aurora.

Central Luzon, which is easily accessible by air, sea, and land, has emerged as one of the leading growth regions in the Philippines, attracting thousands of tourists each year.
