This is another good trail that is only minutes away from Metro Manila. It is recommended to start climbing this mountain early in the morning, so you'll witness the sea of clouds once you reach the top. Ready your cameras for picturesque view of the sun rising over the silhouette of the Sierra Madre mountain range. Just be mindful of the sharp rocks and steep climbs going to the peak.

Once you decide to hike, everything will change. You will learn to appreciate nature and will be blessed by amazing sceneries along your way. And if you are just starting, Mt. Hapunang Banoi is a recommended one. Like any other mountain trails near Rodriguez, Rizal, the view from the top of the mountain is astonishing and addictive. It is a rocky climb but in the end, the view from the top is gorgeous. You will need to prepare for a couple of bucks for DENR environmental fee and registration.

If you are looking for a new adventure located just few hours from Metro Manila with several trekking choices available, this spot is recommended for you. Aside from its home to trekking trails, this one is really short distance hike, but the summit is the defining moment. You will be able to go on top of the mountain and rock formation and there is also a falls located along the way. It is nice to take a dip after a tiring hike to Mt. Pamitinan. If you are going to bike to this trail, the uphill battle will really test your endurance and patience, but when you're on top, everything is perfect. Some also try to hike this trail late in the afternoon so that they can witness the majestic night lights of the city. There is a view deck as well as a Grotto on the way to the summit.

This trail is a rocky, single-track path and wide dirt roads, which give way to steep, long grassland slopes near the summit. Hikers climb through bamboo shafts and occasional banana plantations. The peak is a large grassland summit that offers little shade but provides a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding Sierra Madre mountain range, the neighboring peaks (such as Mt. Pamitinan and Mt. Binacayan), and the distinctive cogon terraces below.
