The Saint Augustine Parish Church, colloquially known as Bantay Church, is a historic Spanish colonial-era church established in 1590 by Augustinian friars, and is one of the oldest surviving churches in the entire Ilocos Region.
Located in the municipality of Bantay, it sits just across the municipal border with Vigan, roughly a 10-minute tricycle or kalesa ride away from Calle Crisologo.
The church is famous for housing a miraculous Marian image and sitting next to an iconic hilltop watchtower.
