Cagayancillo is a remote island municipality located close to the famed Tubbataha National Marine Park, with a rich history and notable Spanish-era fortifications.
Cagayancillo is one of twenty-three (23) municipalities (along with one city) comprising the province of Palawan in the Mimaropa Region. The town is politically subdivided into (12) barangays, and is a part of the 1st Congressional District of Palawan.
