Sapa-Sapa is one of eleven (11) municipalities comprising the province of Tawi-Tawi in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region ( BARMM ). The town is politically subdivided into twenty-three (23) barangays, and is a part of the Lone Congressional District of Tawi-Tawi.

Sapa-Sapa is an island municipality adjacent to the main island of Tawi-Tawi.

The absence of infrastructure requires one to travel by boat to reach the island.

One of its attractions is the island with white sand beaches called Panampangan Beach.

Majority of the population are engaged in farming and fishing. The municipality still has no electricity, and there are only two out of the twenty-three (23) barangays that have a health center.
