Sultan Kudarat is one of four provinces comprising the Soccsksargen Region ( Region XII ).
The province is subdivided into eleven (11) municipalities along with the city of Tacurong. The seat of the provincial government is at the capital town of Isulan.
Sultan Kudarat offers a diverse range of attractions, from the grand provincial architecture in Isulan to the secluded white sand beaches of Kalamansig and the scenic mountain ridges of Columbio.

Bagumbayan

- Pangadilan Falls and Rock Formation: Known for its distinct rock formations and cascading waters, reachable via an adventurous habal-habal ride.

Esperanza
- Marguez Hot and Cold Spring: A 5-hectare park on a rolling hill offering panoramic views and therapeutic natural springs.

Isulan
- Provincial Capitol: Known as one of the grandest capitols in the Philippines, this white-and-gold structure features architecture inspired by sultanate palaces and a large monument of Sultan Muhammad Dipatuan Kudarat.
- Roundball: A central landmark and roundabout featuring a tall statue of Sultan Kudarat, serving as a primary cultural heritage monument for the town.
- Narra Park: A peaceful community space located at the old capitol grounds, featuring towering narra trees, a water fountain, and picnic areas.
Kalamansig
- Balut Island Resort: A secluded island with powdery white sand and turquoise waters, popular for snorkeling and boat rides.
- Tayandak Beach: A serene white-sand beach known for its clean waters and less-crowded atmosphere.
Lebak
- Katunggan Coastal Eco Park: A 720-hectare mangrove forest with a 1.6-kilometer boardwalk that leads to Taguisa Beach.
- Tenubak Falls: A natural waterfall located in the town’s mountainous areas, favored by local nature enthusiasts.
- Lom Cave: A 400-meter-long cave system featuring impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and underground pools.
Sen. Ninoy Aquino
- Lagbasan Cave: A spelunking destination with stunning stalactites and stalagmites.
Tacurong City
- Baras Bird Sanctuary: A 7-hectare sanctuary home to over 20,000 birds, including herons and egrets. It is best visited in the late afternoon to see the birds return to their nests.
- Genalin Park and Zoo Rescue Center: A family-friendly nature park and zoo that houses various animals and offers interactive experiences.
Named after Sultan Mohammed Dipatuan Kudarat, the most famous sultan of Maguindanao, the province is known for its Kalimudan Festival held every November 21 in Isulan. It is an annual gathering of the different tribal groups in the province to celebrate a bountiful harvest. Activities include a dancing parade, horsefight, trade fair, and sports competition. The festival highlights the foundation anniversary of Sultan Kudarat.
