Sorsogon: Gateway to the Southern Philippines

Sorsogon is the southernmost province in the island of Luzon, celebrated for its rich natural beauty, cultural heritage, and status as the whale shark capital of the country.

The province is made up of 14 municipalities (Bulan, Bulusan, Barcelona, Casiguran, Castilla, Donsol, Gubat, Irosin, Juban, Magallanes, Matnog, Pilar, Prieto Diaz, and Santa Magdalena) along with Sorsogon City, which serves as the provincial capital.

Except for Irosin, all municipalities and the component city border the sea.
