The Quezon Memorial Circle is a prominent landmark and major urban park in Quezon City, best known for the Quezon Memorial Shrine, a mausoleum honoring Manuel L. Quezon, the second President of the Philippines.
Located within the vast circular grounds of the traffic roundabout known as Elliptical Road, this 25-hectare park is one of the most underrated destinations in the metropolitan area, providing visitors with a variety of attractions that include:
- Museo ni Manuel Quezon, a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of President Quezon.
- The Mausoleum, which houses the remains of President Quezon and his spouse, Doña Aurora.
- Quezon Heritage House, a well-preserved historic residence that offers a glimpse into the lifestyle and history of President Quezon and his family.
- Bahay Modernismo, a contemporary design center that highlights the charm and aesthetics of Filipino homes from the mid-20th century.
- Presidential Car Museum, which showcases an impressive collection of historic state vehicles used by various Philippine presidents throughout history.

The elliptical park also serves as a popular recreational area featuring walking trails, gardens, and open spaces for jogging, biking, and family gatherings.
The trail, which spans approximately 0.6 km with an elevation gain of 18 meters, is considered an easy hike, taking roughly 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
Overall, Quezon Memorial Circle is a vibrant community hub frequently hosting events, weekend markets, and cultural activities right within the park grounds.
Visiting Quezon Memorial Circle is a rewarding experience, but to make the most of your trip, here are some important things to know before you go.
The park is open daily from 5:00am to 10:00pm, but specific attractions such as the Museo ni Manuel Quezon, Quezon Heritage House, Bahay Modernismo, and Presidential Car Museum are open Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 4:00pm.
Entrance to the park is free, making it a favored destination for locals and tourists alike.
Other facilities may also be closed during special events, so it would be wise to check in advance with the park management office at (02) 8731-8391.
While any of the attractions can be explored independently, it might be more convenient and beneficial to plan a full day itinerary of QMC that includes a visit to the shrine, museum, heritage house, design center, and the car museum.
Although that will largely depend on how much time and effort you are willing or prepared to commit.
And while you can visit the main attractions in any order you prefer, the best sequence of stops for visiting QMC is a counter-clockwise route starting at the Quezon Memorial Shrine and ending at the Presidential Car Museum.
This specific layout minimizes walking, aligns with standard operating hours, and lets you explore outdoor spaces before the midday heat.
The park covers a vast area, so be prepared to spend about half a day to visit all the attractions, maybe even longer, depending on your pace.
- Comfortable footwear, since the park is expansive and you will be doing a lot of outdoor walking.
- Sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, particularly if you are visiting around midday.
- A camera or smartphone, for capturing images of the beautiful landmarks and gardens.
- Enough water to keep you hydrated, although food stalls and several restaurants are available within the park.
