The Baluarte Resort and Mini Zoo (commonly known as Baluarte Zoo) is a sprawling 100-to-120-hectare wildlife sanctuary and zoological park located along Quirino Boulevard in Vigan City.
Situated just a 10-to-15-minute drive south of the historic Calle Crisologo, it is the private estate and personal project of well-known Filipino politician and businessman Luis Chavit Singson.
The park serves as an interactive conservation space where visitors can view native and exotic animals up close, standing in sharp, natural contrast to the colonial urban streets of the town center.
