Vigan Day 2: Crisologo Museum

The Crisologo Museum is a historical ancestral house turned museum that was once the private residence of Floro S. Crisologo, a prominent Ilocano congressman, and his wife Carmeling Crisologo, who served as provincial governor.

Unlike many highly curated tourist museums, the estate functions as a raw time capsule. It chronicles the grandeur, achievements, and dark realities of mid-20th-century Philippine provincial politics—culminating in an infamous political assassination that shocked the entire country.
